Double innovation: franchise system for gardeners and jumbo grass sticks
A young gardening master from Upper Austria will be waiting for two innovations at this year’s international garden fair 2012 in Tulln: a franchise system called „DSG – the service gardener“ and a special fast-growing grass, the „Jumbo grass„.
After almost 13 years of development and own testing in a „pilot company“, Gardening Master Reinhard Sperr from Oberhofen am Irrsee ventures with a special innovation on the market for green ideas. He has developed a franchise system, a partner system with a „service center“ and, in the future, many committed partners across Austria, which prepares people for independence as a gardener and also accompanies them beyond the founding phase. „With this unique franchise system in Austria, young and junior gardeners will be providing a ready-made, tested gardening service system and will accompany them into a successful future as a service gardener,“ says Reinhard Sperr, the inventor of this innovative service idea.
The services offered are based on gardening and landscaping, landscape gardening and garden design. These services place high demands on professional garden maintenance and are always associated with a special service for the customers.
The second innovation that Reinhard Sperr will be presenting at the fair is the so-called Jumbo grass hedge. Particularly fast growing grasses are mainly offered here as bales to hedges, groups or as solitary plants. The advantages: particularly fast growth (up to 4 meters per year), very easy to maintain and also cheap!
