This variant of root planting is most appropriate to plant a long hedge for sight protection using many troughs or pots . Place the roots at the recommended distance in double rows and then bury them approximately in a depth of 5 cm. Just once pressed, and slightly watered , done!

This Miscanthus species (Miscanthus x giganteus) is extremely robust , also concerning water and nutrients. After 2 to 3 years of growth, it reaches the final height of ca 1.25 – 2 meters in the trough or pot depending on soil and water availability and can also be used on a balcony or on a terrace for a relatively dense sight protection hedge .
