Miscanthus sinensis strictus for terrace & balcony
Large, strong grasses for terrace & amp; balcony already in the first year!
Yellow-streaked, as if someone had artfully applied color, this is how one knows this extremely popular Chinese reed species Miscanthus sinensis strictus.
The variation of planting perennial planting bales directly from the field of Micanthus Strictus is most appropriated for a grass plantation , which as quickly as possible can show visible results in troughs and pots . Depending on the planted size, very bushy and dense grasses can grow during the first summer, which can be at times used as a low sight protection even on a terrace/balcony.
Our Jumbogras sticks for medium height trough plants of the species Miscanthus Strictus is available in the following bale sizes

The Chinese reed “Strictus” is a relatively easy-care miscanthus species. After an incubation period of one to two seasons, it reaches the final height of approx. 0.75 – 1,25 meters (sometimes 1.5 meters), depending on the bale size in trough or pot and on nutrient and water availability. This grass can also be used on a balcony and on a terrace to provide a relatively good mid-height sight protection hedge .
